The Meade 56mm Series 4000 Super Plössl eyepiece is an excellent choice for general purpose telescope observing, and super economical, too! The 4-element design, 52-degree apparent field of view, and special coatings reveal sharp images, and blackened lens edges keep internal reflections at bay. 

The Meade Series 4000 Super Plössl eyepiece has a soft rubber eyecup to keep stray light from porch lights, etc. from entering the optics. Designed to utilize the very latest in optical glass types, Meade 4-element Super Plossls are excellent general-purpose eyepieces.
