Meade 20mm Series 4000 Super Plössl eyepiece features a 4-element optical design that brings you a 52° field of view with high-contrast sharp images. All edges have been blackened to keep internal reflections at bay. 

The Meade Series 4000 Super Plössl eyepiece has a soft rubber eyecup to keep stray light from porch lights, etc. from entering the optics. Designed to utilize the very latest in optical glass types, Meade 4-element Super Plossl is an excellent general-purpose eyepiece. For observing hairline lunar and planetary detail, splitting close double stars, or for resolving faint nebulosity in deep space, the Meade Super Plossl optimizes the performance of any telescope type. It also operates well in conjunction with the air-spaced design of the Meade #140 2x Apochromatic Barlow.
