Explore Scientific Twilight Nano Alt-Az Mount Head and Tripod for FirstLight™ series telescopes. Features sturdy 1.25" stainless steel legs that extend from 25.5" to a maximum height of 45". Included handle enables smooth movements. For accepting more diminutive scopes such as small Maksutov-Cassegrains, refractors, and solar scopes, as well as the ED80, quickly and without difficulty, the lightweight Twilight Nano alt-azimuth mount is the way to go. Short, fast Newtonian telescopes also adapt well to the Twilight Nano. So long as your telescope is not over 14 lbs. and uses a Vixen-style Universal Dovetail bar to mount the optical tube to the mount head, you'll be fine.

Although the FirstLight AR102 Refractor is nearly identical to the 102 mm Air-Spaced Doublet Refractor both in terms of optics and materials, there is a difference when it comes to included accessories. The DAR102 comes with a 2" Dual-Speed Crayford Focuser, 8x50 Finderscope, and 2" Diagonal, while the FL-AR102 comes with a 1.25" Diagonal, Red Dot Finder, and 40 mm Draw Tube Focuser.
