2 Nosepiece with 2.156 Threads (A2558) - Compatible with Industrial Equipment, Machinery & Automotive Applications

Description

The A2558 2" Nosepiece is similar to our classic AP16T 2"/T-2 Nosepiece, but with 2.156" threads for QSI and SBIG CCD Cameras.  This nosepiece features a tapered profile that will provide the most robust attachment possible.  Attach it to your CCD camera, insert the nosepiece into your 2" adapter and tighten the thumbscrews.  The brass locking ring will seat your valuable CCD camera squarely and solidly into place.

The nosepiece has 48 mm filter threads and the interior is painted flat-black.  It is compatible with most compression locking rings.  However, it is not recommended for our 92 mm f/5 or f/7 Stowaway, or when using our older style 2" Thin Adapter (or prior version ADA201).  When using these older designs, we suggest the  nosepiece. The current style will work perfectly with the A2558 nosepiece.

This nosepiece has a net spacing distance of 0.25" (6.35 mm).

This nosepiece has a net spacing distance of 1.375" (34.93 mm) when used with the CCDT67.

It has a nose insertion depth of 1.125" (28.58 mm).
