The Meade Accessory Tube Balance System is designed to fit a Meade 12" SCT scopes. Three different weights are supplied with each unit, permitting considerable variation in the total weight available for balancing. Each weight assembly attaches to factory-threaded holes which are provided on the underside of every Meade SCT Telescope tube.

Tube Balance Weight Systems permit the balancing of heavy or long-lever-arm accessories which are attached to the eyepiece-end of the telescope. Balances the tube around the Elevation axis.
